The Online Learning Problems Of Islamic Education Cluster Grade Tenth In MAN 2 Samarinda

This thesis guided by Dr. Muchammad Eka Mahmud, M.Ag as the first advisor and Mujahidah, M.Psi as the second advisor.
The background of this research is that the Covid-19 pandemic made the government establish learning from home policy. Learning that should have been done face-to-face is now done online. Online learning that is done from home is not uncommon so that learning is hampered and runs less optimally. The impact of this is the emergence of problems that occur in the implementation of learning, such as the readiness of schools, teachers, and students in using the application so that the teaching and learning process is less effective. This happens in many schools, including in MAN 2 Samarinda, especially the grade X Islamic Education Cluster. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to determine the problems of online learning in the grade X Islamic Education cluster in MAN 2 Samarinda and efforts to overcome online learning problems Islamic Education Cluster grade X in MAN 2 Samarinda.
This study used qualitative research methods. The data sources used were primary data in the form of interviews with vice-principal of curriculum, grade X Islamic Education teachers, grade X students, and grade X students' parents, and secondary data in the form of documents related to MAN 2 Samarinda. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used the Miles and Huberman model, namely data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification.
The results showed that the problems of online learning in the grade X of Islamic Education clusters in MAN 2 Samarinda was the inhibition of character education learning in students, students had difficulty understanding learning, students were less familiar with classmates, providing teaching materials with limited explanations, lack of focus because students tend to play handphones, and student assignments that are not done. As for the efforts to overcome the problems of online learning in the grade X of Islamic Education clusters in MAN 2 Samarinda, it is the formation of student character through responsibility in doing assignments, absent and responding to teachers, making innovations and variations in learning, students learning harder to be able to understand the subject matter, learning to socialize even though not face to face, and providing motivation to problem students.
