Under Graduate Degree. Thesis, Islamic Education Major, Teacher Training and Tarbiyah Faculty State Islamic Institute of Samarinda. This research was under guidance Dra. Hj. Fathul Jannah, M.Si as the first advisor and Marniati Kadir, M.Pd as the second advisor.
The background of this research was the researcher interested to do a research in Teacher Training and Tarbiyah Faculty because the lecturer is one of a coach or national fasilitator of Tanoto Foundation’s PINTAR Program. The aims of this research was to know the implementation of MIKiR Learning Method by the lecturers in Teacher Training and Tarbiyah Faculty to their students to achieve Merdeka Belajar so that Education in Indonesia can be more advance, smart, and have a certain character.
The researcher used qualitative research. The data sources of this research were primer data and secondary data. The data collecting techniques used were observation, interview, and documentation. Then, in data analysis technique the researcher used data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing or verification. Besides that, the data verification used diligence observation, triangulation, and peer verification by discussing.
The result of this research was the lecturer’s planning in designing the structures by using MIKiR method in their learning activity. The lecturers are using “Experience” unsure by making research and designing job sheet; making videos, resuming research task, designing research by individual or group, making research video of measuring symmetric, making English sentences in A5 carton drawing book by using post-it note. All of the lecturers doing “Interaction” as same as talking to each other (student to student or student to the lecturer). The lecturer doing “Communication” by presenting task result in front of the students, sharing ideas, students telling to the other student and the lecturer. In “Reflection”, the lecturer evaluating the learning outcome by measuring how far they understand the material and retelling in case they do not understand. The students can be observed by some steps to make a change by evaluating the learning outcome so that the learning objective can be achieved.
