Dr. Umar Fauzan M.Pd was the primary supervisor for this study, with Dra. Sitti Hadijah M.Pd serving as the secondary supervisor. In teaching and learning activities, in elementary and high school settings, we know the term medium of instruction. Many factors influence the application or use of the language of instruction, particularly at the high school level, one of which is that the purpose of its use is aligned with the goals to be met. In other hand, the English language education department is the subject of study, and using the language of instruction will be more appropriate and have a positive impact on pupils. In other words, the purpose of this research is to gain answers to what is the acceptable use of the language of teaching to be used, especially in the context of English. The method used in this research is quantitative. Data obtained from questionnaires. After the data is collected analysis is carried out to test the hypothesis. Descriptive statistical analysis is used to summarize data, and inferential statistics is used to make conclusions about the population and sample. The formulas required in this research include the mean (average), Standard Deviation (standard deviation), the t-test used to compare the averages of two groups, and finally the Chi-square test which is used to evaluate whether the sample distribution is different significantly. The findings showed that from 40 students revealed a total average of 3.91 from 16 statements (based on interval scores), indicating that English language education students from the class of 2022 strongly agreed with the use of English as the language of teaching.This can be considered by lecturers and students with the goal of meeting the specified learning objectives.
